Fees

The fees are calculated based on the incoming gross weight. The fee for lots larger than 50 ounces is 1%. The fee for lots less than 50 ounces is 2%. You can see the fee schedule page for more information.

Other than that every customer should expect an additional $30 assay fee per lot.

The company's turnaround time for precious metal scrap is considerably faster than that of other companies, as they are able to process high-grade karat gold in 48 hours or less.

Lots with gold filings take approximately 4 days to complete and customers receive automated email updates at each step of the process from receipt all the way through settlement.

The company requires that the pure gold (or combined gold, silver, and platinum) contained in each lot have a minimum value of $10,000. Lots having less than this amount are not accepted by the company.

The minimum value for Platinum group metals (platinum, palladium, rhodium) is $5,000.
